368. coeur
Word of the day.
And all this time, I was wondering what Le Coeur de France means!

Third session of French Module 1: Today, we explored more on numbers alongside the questions of where, who & when. 'Twas fun!
The only numbers we counted was from une to soixante-neuf, since there are minor complications for all numbers beyond that (which will be discussed next week)....
...so I consulted my linguist of a cousin & realized that there's a whole new dimension to counting in terms of French. I find it bizarre how they came up with the counting system; but heck, it ain't French if it ain't like that. Anyway, it still sounded nice.
I also got my AFdM card so I immediately borrowed two DVDs of which I may watch later. I'm totally beat today considering how Saturday went about:
Morning - French Class
Afternoon - Lunch/ Gym Enrollment
Late Afternoon - 30% of 1 MONTH's laundry (Booooooo!)
Evening - Dinner and coffee
Late Evening - Informelle French lesson w/my cousins
Off to bed now... J'y vais et a plus tard!

Le coeur de France est une idée sympathique qui rappelle la notion de charité et d'ouverture.
Un, deux, trois ....soixante neuf bonjours de France + un = soixante dix !
Yep, coeur literally means center, although it can also mean heart. Having said that, I asked my translator/ teacher a question that requires French translation:
Est-ce que tu as mon coeur? Lol. It was mushy but I find it quite amusing :-)
And no, no boyfriend yet. :-)
Today at French class: we learned to ask "What is your number?" and "What is your e-mail address?" Lol.
Je voudrais!
